Emotional Patterns in Real Time
In Part 1, we explored a powerful truth:
👉 that your emotional reactions are not random
👉 but patterns are shaped by your experiences and your nervous system
And maybe, for the first time, something softened.
Not everything is “too much.”
Not everything is “your fault.”

Awareness does not begin after the moment has passed.
It begins within the moment itself.
Because real change doesn’t happen when you analyze your reaction later…
👉 it happens when you start noticing it
while it is unfolding inside of you
What actually happens in real time
Most people think:
👉 “I react because of what happened.”
But in reality, something else happens first:
1 . your body reacts

your nervous system activates
⬇️
3. and only then… your thoughts appear

what your body already feels✨
How emotional patterns show up in daily life
Let’s bring this into real situations.
✨ Example 1 – At work
You share an idea in a meeting.
No one really responds.
And suddenly something shifts inside of you.
Maybe you notice:
😮💨 a tightness in your chest
⚡️ tension in your body
😞 a subtle feeling of shrinking
And then the thoughts come up:
“My ideas are not good enough.”
“They don’t take me seriously.”
✨ Example 2 – In your personal life
You send a message to someone close to you.
There is no reply.
Time passes… and something starts to build.
You might notice:
😑 heaviness in your stomach
🫨 restlessness
🤳🏽 the urge to check your phone again and again
And then the thoughts appear:
“I’m not important.”
“They don’t really care about me.”
The key shift
In both situations, it feels like:
👉 the situation is causing your reaction
But what is actually happening is:
👉 the situation is activating a familiar emotional pattern
A gentle truth to remember
✨ Your thoughts are not the cause.✨
✨ They are the story your mind creates to make sense of the feeling.✨
Your practice – The Emotional Check-In
This is where awareness becomes something you can live.
Not later.
Not in theory.
👉 in real time

Pause for a moment and ask yourself:
What am I feeling right now?
Where do I feel it in my body?
What just triggered this?
⬇️
Applied to your daily life
✨ At work
Feeling : insecurity
Body : tight chest
Trigger : no response
👉 “This is the pattern of not feeling seen.”
✨ In your personal life
Feeling : sadness / anxiety
Body : heaviness in stomach
Trigger : no reply
👉 “This is the pattern of feeling unimportant.”
What changes in this moment
The situation has not changed.
The meeting is still the same.
The message is still unanswered.
But something within you shifts:
👉 you are no longer completely inside the reaction
👉 you are beginning to observe it
A sentence you can carry with you
✨ “I don’t have to believe every thought that follows a feeling.”✨
Closing
This step is not about controlling yourself.
It is about gently staying with yourself
in the exact moment you would usually lose yourself.
And in that moment…
✨ awareness begins to create space✨
✨ and space begins to create freedom✨
